Where to watch professional and semi-pro soccer in Connecticut

This site follows five Connecticut clubs above youth level. Hartford Athletic and CT United FC are professional and play from March into the fall. New Haven United FC, AC Connecticut and Connecticut Rush play in summer leagues. This guide covers the grounds each club used in 2026: where they are, what their owners say they seat, how tickets were sold, and the move CT United plans for 2027. It was checked on October 18, 2026.

Capacity figures for the college grounds are the universities' own. Trinity Health Stadium's is from its Wikipedia entry, and Dodd Stadium's from the CT Mirror's May 2026 report. No figure was found for LaMoy Field or for Connecticut Rush's two grounds. Game counts are regular-season home games.

Hartford Athletic: Trinity Health Stadium

Hartford Athletic plays in the USL Championship, whose 2026 regular season runs from March 7 to October 24. Its home since its first season in 2019 has been Trinity Health Stadium, 250 Huyshope Avenue, Hartford, which opened in 1935 and was known as Dillon Stadium until 2022. Its listed capacity is 5,500.

Tickets are sold through the club's tickets page. Its match-day guide for the 2026 season says tickets are mobile only, so you need a phone or other smart device with you to get in, and that gates open two hours before kickoff. Everyone aged four and over needs a ticket; children three and under get in free if they sit on a ticketed patron's lap. All sales are final, and games go ahead rain or shine.

The club's stadium page lists match-day parking at $12 paid online in advance or $15 at the stadium, where payment is cashless. Lot 2 opens three hours before kickoff and is the only lot where tailgating is allowed; the other lots open two hours before. Concessions and merchandise are cashless too. The club says there is accessible seating in every section, and its list of banned items includes weapons and animals other than assistance dogs.

CT United FC: three college grounds in 2026

CT United FC played its first MLS Next Pro season in 2026. Its 14 regular-season home games were split across three college grounds. CT United FC's first MLS Next Pro season, game by game has every result.

The first three home games, from April 11 to May 3, were at UConn's Joseph J. Morrone Stadium at the Rizza Performance Center, 507 Jim Calhoun Way in Storrs. It is the home of UConn's soccer teams and its women's lacrosse team. UConn lists 4,169 bleacher seats and a capacity of 5,300 with standing room.

Nine games, from May 16 to August 9, were at Yale's Reese Stadium, 75 Central Avenue in New Haven, the home of Yale soccer and lacrosse. Yale lists permanent seating for 1,250 and several sets of bleachers at field level. The stadium has a concessions area and a ticket office.

The last two, on August 29 and September 20, were the club's first games in Bridgeport, at the University of Bridgeport's Knights Field, 100 Linden Avenue. The university lists a capacity of 950, an artificial turf surface laid in 2015 and lights over the whole field. The September 20 game, a 7-2 win over Inter Miami CF II, was the last of the regular season.

From 2027: Dodd Stadium in Norwich

CT United was announced in 2024 with plans for a waterfront stadium in Bridgeport. Gov. Ned Lamont declined to back that project, and in late April 2026 the club's owner, Connecticut Sports Group, signed a lease with the city of Norwich for Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium, a ballpark of roughly 6,000 seats that opened in 1995. According to the CT Mirror, the group takes over running the stadium in early 2027, the first term ends in 2029 with three options to extend, and the team could start playing there as early as 2027, depending on how repairs go. The Norwich Sea Unicorns of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League will keep playing there.

The first phase of work covers drainage and the field, roof repairs, electrical and plumbing systems, and accessibility and building code work. In a release on September 22, 2026, Connecticut Sports Group said the state's Community Investment Fund 2030 board had approved $8.1 million for the renovation, and that Gov. Lamont would next decide how to fund it and recommend it to the Bond Commission. It also said later phases would add room for more fans, and that details on the timeline would be shared in the coming months. On October 18, CT United's tickets page said information on 2027 single-game and season tickets was coming soon.

New Haven United FC: Reese and Zolad

New Haven United FC plays in the NPSL. In 2026 it won the North Atlantic Conference and reached the national semifinals, where it lost at Bristol Rhythm AFC on July 25. Its home games that summer were split between Reese Stadium, its only home ground in 2025, and the University of New Haven's Kathy Zolad Stadium in West Haven, which hosted the conference final on July 12.

The University of New Haven lists seating for 400 at Zolad, which has an artificial turf field and lights. The university does not allow pets or alcohol at the stadium or at any other facility on its main campus. New Haven United sells tickets through the Get Tickets link on its website.

AC Connecticut: Danbury and Waterbury

AC Connecticut's men's team plays in USL League Two, a summer league for college-eligible players. Its website names Western Connecticut State University's Westside Athletic Complex in Danbury as the team's home ground, and its first three home games of 2026, all in May, were at the university. The complex sits next to the university's O'Neill Center and opened in 2003; the university lists a capacity of 2,500 and an artificial turf field.

Its last four home games, from June 10 to July 7, were listed at Post University's LaMoy Field in Waterbury, at the university's address of 800 Country Club Road. LaMoy Field is the home of Post's football, soccer, lacrosse and softball teams. The club played at Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford from 2021 to 2023.

Connecticut Rush: Deep River and Middletown

Connecticut Rush, the senior men's team of the Northeast Rush youth organization, played its first USL League Two season in 2026. Its pre-season announcement said home games would be at Valley Regional High School in Deep River, and that every home game for the club's men's and women's teams would be free to attend. Five of its seven home games, played between May 16 and July 1, were at Valley Regional, 256 Kelsey Hill Road. The other two were at Middlesex Health Stadium, 49 Randolph Road in Middletown.

What is left in 2026

Hartford Athletic's last regular-season game is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, at home against Rhode Island FC. The stadium's event listings show doors at 5 PM and kickoff at 7 PM. In this site's table, last updated with its games through October 16, Hartford was seventh of 13 in the Eastern Conference. The top eight in each conference reach the USL Championship playoffs, which are scheduled to start the weekend of October 31 to November 2. The standings hub has the table.

CT United won its first playoff game, 1-0 at Atlanta United 2 on October 16. Its Eastern Conference semifinal is scheduled for October 23 to 25, against an opponent decided by quarterfinals on October 17 and 18, so check the club's schedule for the date and place. The 2026 seasons of New Haven United, AC Connecticut and Connecticut Rush are over.

Four of the five clubs used more than one ground in 2026, so the venue on a club's own schedule for a given game is the one to go by. Each club's page on this site has its record and league table: Hartford Athletic, CT United FC, New Haven United FC, AC Connecticut and Connecticut Rush. How their leagues fit together is explained in How Connecticut soccer is organized.
