What's New

Recent updates and new features on CT Soccer, newest first. This page is updated by hand as things ship, so if something looks missing, it probably just hasn't been added here yet.

October 2026
Distances in Find a Club
Find a Club can now look for clubs within about 10 or 25 miles of your town, and each match says roughly how far it is. Distances are straight lines between town centers, using the U.S. Census Bureau's point for each town, not driving distances.
Game-day forecasts on club pages
When a club's next home game is within about a week, its page shows the National Weather Service forecast for the stadium. Hartford Athletic is the first club with its stadium's location on file.
A map on Clubs by Town
Clubs by Town now opens with a map of Connecticut, one circle for each town with clubs. Tap a circle to jump to that town's clubs. Map images © OpenStreetMap contributors.
August 2026
Pro & semi-pro standings hub
All 4 Connecticut-tied leagues we track (USL Championship, MLS NEXT Pro, NPSL, and USL League Two) now live on one page with sourced, linked standings tables. Every relevant club page links straight to it.
Browse the club directory by county
Clubs by Town now has a By County view alongside the original By Town list, so you can jump straight to Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven, or any of Connecticut's 8 counties instead of scrolling the full town list.
New club spotlights
Added fresh club spotlights for AC Connecticut, Inter CT FC, CFC, and Revolution United FC to the News feed.
Notifications for clubs you follow
Following a club now syncs to your account, and a notification bell on your Dashboard and Account page lets you know when a club you follow has a new match result posted.
Team Manager access now requires approval
Requesting to manage a club's match results and roster now goes through a review step instead of being granted instantly, so match results stay trustworthy.
Member directory (People)
Search and browse other players, coaches, and fans on CT Soccer, filter by role or club, and follow the people you want to keep up with. Only public profile info is ever shown.
Team Manager match result submissions
Approved Team Managers can now submit match results for their club, visible to anyone browsing that club's page.
Accounts moved to the cloud
Accounts, profiles, and club follows are now stored server-side instead of only in your browser. Sign in from any device and everything is right where you left it.
