CT Soccer Hub pulls together information from a few different places — some of it live from public sports data, some of it hand-researched, and some of it submitted directly by the clubs themselves. This page explains exactly where everything comes from, how current it is, and what to do if something looks wrong.
Four Connecticut clubs — Hartford Athletic, CT United FC, AC Connecticut, and CT Rush (USL2) — are tracked through TheSportsDB, a public sports data service. This works in two layers:
No other Connecticut clubs currently have a public data feed available, which is why this list is short — it's a limitation of what data exists publicly, not a choice about which clubs matter.
The directory of Connecticut youth clubs (over 160 of them) — names, cities, and websites — is sourced from the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association's official club listing at cjsa.org. This is directory information only, not stats or results, and it's updated in occasional batches rather than continuously, so a club's listed website or contact link may lag behind if they've recently changed it.
The more detailed profiles for youth and academy clubs (coaching staff, tryout info, contact details) were researched by hand from each club's own website and social media. These aren't refreshed on any schedule — they reflect what was publicly available at the time they were written, and get updated when a club reaches out with a correction (see below) or when we do another research pass.
Some match results you'll see on a club's page were entered directly by that club's own Team Manager, not pulled from any outside source. This isn't open to anyone — a person has to request Team Manager access for a specific club through their account, and that request is personally reviewed and approved before they can submit anything.
How current these are depends entirely on how often that club's manager updates them.
Several clubs have already reached out directly to correct details we had wrong — for example, Inter CT FC contacted us to fix their location, colors, and coaching structure after our initial research got parts of it wrong. We treat that as the most reliable source there is: if a club tells us something about themselves is inaccurate, we fix it.
The four league standings tables shown on club pages and the standings hub — USL Championship, MLS NEXT Pro, NPSL, and USL League Two — are copied by hand from each league's own official standings page, not an automated feed. Every table links straight to the exact page it came from, and shows the date it was last checked, so you can verify it yourself or see at a glance if it's due for a refresh.
