Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ctsoccerhub.com and its features — club profiles, the
Dashboard, News, Tournaments, Coaching Clinics, the Soccer Assistant, the Community feed, and accounts
(collectively, the "Service"), operated by CT Soccer ("CT Soccer," "we," "us"). By creating an account or
otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. See
also our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
1. Accounts & Eligibility
You need an account to use features like following clubs, posting to Community, or managing a team roster. When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date in Account Settings.
- Keep your password secure — you're responsible for activity under your account. (Two-factor authentication is available in Account Settings, but see our Privacy Policy for its current limitations before relying on it.)
- Use one account per person. Team Manager accounts should be run by someone actually authorized to represent that club.
We ask that you be at least 13 years old to create an account, and that a parent or guardian be involved if you're a minor — for example, when a Team Manager adds a youth player to a roster, that's the manager's responsibility, not the player's own account.
Honestly: our registration process doesn't currently verify anyone's age. We're not
able to confirm that every account actually meets this requirement today, and we're working on it. See
our
Privacy Policy's Children's Privacy section for the full,
honest picture of where this stands and what to do if you're a parent with a concern.
2. Acceptable Use
When using CT Soccer, you agree not to:
- Impersonate another person, club, or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with a club.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, in Community posts, profile content, or anywhere else on the Service.
- Post content that's illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Scrape, mass-download, or use automated tools against the Service beyond normal, individual browsing.
- Submit false match results, fake rosters, or other misleading club/team data as a Team Manager.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service's normal operation or security.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules — see Section 9.
3. Your Content
You own the photos, videos, captions, and other content you post to Community or elsewhere on the Service
("Your Content"). By posting it, you grant CT Soccer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to
host, store, and display Your Content on the Service, solely to operate and provide the Service to you and
other users — for example, showing your post in the Community feed to people who follow you.
You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to post it. You can delete your own posts at any time, which removes that license going forward.
4. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content posted on CT Soccer infringes your copyright, email
info@ctsoccerhub.com with (1) a description of the copyrighted
work you believe is infringed, (2) the URL or other location of the content you believe infringes it, and
(3) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its
agent, or the law. We'll review reports and remove content that violates someone else's rights.
We currently handle copyright complaints via the email process above. Separately, U.S. copyright law
lets platforms that host user-generated content register a "designated agent" with the U.S. Copyright
Office, which affects eligibility for a specific legal protection ("safe harbor") if a copyright claim
is ever made about content someone else posted. As of this policy's date, we haven't registered one —
that's a decision we're still considering.
5. Accuracy of Club & Event Info
Please double-check before you rely on it. Club rosters, tournament dates, coaching clinic
pricing, and match results come from a mix of user submissions, our own research, and third-party sources
(CJSA, US Soccer, TheSportsDB, and individual clubs). We do our best to keep this accurate and current, but
we don't guarantee it. Tournament dates in particular are "subject to change" — always confirm directly with
the hosting organization, and confirm coaching course pricing/registration on learning.ussoccer.com before
you rely on either.
Live match results and standings shown for Hartford Athletic, AC Connecticut, and CT Rush are pulled automatically from TheSportsDB and may occasionally lag or be temporarily unavailable.
6. Third-Party Links & Services
The Service links to and relies on third-party sites and services — club websites, learning.ussoccer.com,
TheSportsDB, and others. We don't control these and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or
practices. Visiting a linked site is at your own discretion and subject to that site's own terms.
7. Advertising & Affiliate Links
CT Soccer displays ads served by Google AdSense on some pages, to help support the Service. Ads are
served by Google and its partners — not curated or endorsed by CT Soccer — and their appearance
doesn't imply CT Soccer's endorsement of the advertiser or product. We also plan to participate in the
Amazon Associates affiliate program; that is not active yet, and no affiliate links
appear on the site today. See our Privacy Policy for how ad
cookies work and how to opt out.
8. Intellectual Property
The CT Soccer name, logo, and site design belong to CT Soccer. Club names, logos, and crests shown on club
profile pages belong to their respective clubs and leagues, and are used for identification purposes on this
independent, informational platform — CT Soccer is not affiliated with or endorsed by USL, MLS Next Pro,
NPSL, CJSA, or the clubs listed, unless stated otherwise.
9. Suspension & Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that
violate these Terms, submit false club/team information, or misuse the Service, with or without notice
depending on severity. You can also just stop using the Service at any time.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold CT Soccer harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses
(including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, Your Content, or
your violation of these Terms.
11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied,
including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by
law, CT Soccer isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the
Service, or for decisions made based on club, tournament, or coaching information shown here — always
verify directly with the relevant club or organization before relying on it (see Section 5).
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do — continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
