About AC Connecticut

AC Connecticut is an amateur men's club playing in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American soccer pyramid and a summer league for college-eligible players. Founded in 2011 as CFC Azul before rebranding in 2014, it announced a partnership with Hartford Athletic in 2021 to identify players and create a pathway to professional soccer. In 2026 it played its home games at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury and Post University's LaMoy Field in Waterbury.

Owned by Peter D'Amico and general-managed by Robin Schuppert, AC Connecticut sits atop a 70-plus team youth organization. The club competes annually in USL League Two's Northeast Division.
