Olé Football Club (OFC) Academy was founded in Monroe in 2004 by Rodrigo Nunes, offering developmental programs from age 18 months through U14. In July 2024, Connecticut Football Club (CFC) acquired OFC Academy; its 45+ teams now compete as the CFC Olé branch, with Nunes serving as CFC's Senior Technical Director and Technical Director of the CFC Olé program.
Known for its welcoming community culture and wide range of age-appropriate programs, the former Olé FC continues to operate the Ole Training Center in Monroe and serve families across southwestern Connecticut with Stars programs, goalkeeping clinics, and adult leagues — now as part of Connecticut Football Club's CFC Olé branch rather than an independent club.
Tryouts and supplemental placement available for girls and boys. Now operates jointly with CFC as CFC Olé (2026/27 CFC tryouts available).
